Sustainable Wallingford

Sustainable Wallingford aims to build a more sustainable town and community in Wallingford and its surrounding area. The group was formed in 2003 by people living in and around the town, and since then has become well known locally for a range of activities that involve local people and raise awareness of the need to reduce the demands we make on the resources of our planet. Sustainable Wallingford has around 35 active members and is in regular contact with hundreds of local residents who attend events like Swap Shops and receive the newsletter. The group also works in partnership with local government, schools, hospitals, food producers and businesses to promote sustainability.

New Project - Wallingford All Sharing Project - W.A.S.P.  Matching people with large gardens or space in their gardens to people without gardens, space to enable them to grow food.
